The fish we really can’t afford to run out of are our beloved Pacific salmon. Various species of salmon have lived in our lakes, oceans and rivers for centuries. They are a part of our natural environment and they play a significant role in our history and traditions here in Western Canada. They are also a main staple of Canadian cuisine!
